Mr. Pascal Th\u00e9oret has more than 25 years of experience with public and private companies. He has particular expertise in sound governance practices, risk management and controls. He also has expertise in organizational review and process improvement (quality and efficiency improvement). Mr. Th\u00e9oret has served on a number of mandates for national and international clients, Crown corporations, as well as public and parapublic organizations from a wide range of sectors, including retail sectors, distribution and mining resources.
\nHe is head of internal audit at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al since 2013, with a mandate to set up an internal audit service based on a modern approach.
\nHe is engaged in the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montreal (IIA) where he is responsible for professional development and currently holds the Presidency. In addition to being a driving force in IIA, Mr. Th\u00e9oret is also socially involved in primary schools. He is coach and speaker of IIA Montreal, IIA Canada and of the Canadian Evaluation Society.
\nAs the co-author of a framework on healthy governance, he has also co-developed a risk analysis tool for major international projects.<\/p>\n
